About Us

About the Podcast:

Welcome to The Wandering Crow, a thought-provoking journey into the realms of spirits, cryptids, extraterrestrials, and spirituality.  Join us, Mandy, Cameron, and JT as we explore the world of the unusual and fringe, take deep dives into tales of the strange and impossible, and do our best to make new connections and revive old traditions of spiritual lore.  We approach each topic from the lens of those who believe and practice pagan/animistic faiths.  Through open curiosity and genuine respect, we hope to expand our limited knowledge of the worlds beyond our tangible reality.

About your Hosts:

Mandy

I'm a tired mom of 2, nurse, student of spiritual practices and traditions, veteran, master gardener, and I'm completely obsessed with all things supernatural.  Although I can't lie, my heart mostly beats for hauntings and shadow beings, and things of a less tangible nature.  In other words, I'm not hugely into aliens or cryptids, but I'm open to the possibilities and curious about what I may learn.  My goal is to push myself to dive deeper, learn more, and hopefully increase social knowledge of stories which are in danger of being lost.  Stories are important, they tell us who we are in the greater context of the canvas of all creation, they tell us how to move and operate in a universe we cannot hope to fully understand.  I want to learn everything I possibly can before the day I eventually leave this life.

Will you learn with me?

Cameron

I'm Cameron. I’m passionate about anime, gaming, and pushing boundaries with AI, whether it’s exploring new use cases or building my own projects. I’ve always been drawn to the paranormal—especially Ouija boards and investigating haunted locations with friends. The spookier the setting, the more it captures my attention. Professionally, I’m a seasoned leader with experience as an EMT, pharmacy technician, and manager. I currently thrive as a senior pharmacy technician in a fast-paced retail pharmacy. Throughout my career, I’ve encountered both the beginning and end of life, which has shaped my curiosity about the unseen. I’m fascinated by the metaphysical and driven to understand how it all works. I believe preserving and sharing stories about the unknown helps us connect to something greater and make sense of our place in the universe.

JT

Well I was born in the woods and I got tired of people freaking out and screaming when they saw me. so i shaved the hair, got some clothes and now I educate humans on the ways of my people..

Abbey

Horror and sci-fi were my favorite childhood genres. I used to sleep with my arms over my ears because it both: kept out giant earwigs (thank you Wrath of Khan) and prevented vampires from biting my neck (thank you Fright Night). Clearly I struggled understanding the line between reality and fiction. Seeking to define those lines of reality took high priority throughout my adolescence. A crash course in thermodynamics in college biology served as a meaningful catalyst- amidst a culmination of other experience and knowledge- which pushed me to accept and embrace: I don't have faith in or believe in the paranormal or spiritual. I finally felt extremely secure, grounded and liberated. Fast forward many years later, I genuinely relate to the adage "the more I learn the less I know." I'm open to and greatly enjoy pondering and learning new (old) legends, lore, and beliefs.
